Intercol Rowing

31 March 2010

The 2010 Rowing Regatta took place on the 31 March at Sydney International Regatta Centre. It was a great day with Andrew's Rosebowl teams winning both Fresher IV and Senior IV putting them in first place in the Rosebowl competition. The Rawson VIII wasn't as strong coming a close second place to a triumphant Paul's. However, it was enough points to keep Andrew's at the top of the Rawson tally.

Congratulations to both teams!

The Rawson Rowing campaign for 2010 was filled with enjoyment and determination. St. Andrew’s posted one of its strongest Men's Eight to date, and prepared accordingly with solid, early morning training sessions and team building exercises. Although the Men's Eight was unable to put their best performance forward on the day, beaten by a strong St. Paul’s crew, they still managed to keep Andrew’s on top of the Rawson Tally. The 2010 season have put St. Andrews in a strong position for next year, providing a number of talented fresher rowers with and opportunity to experience Rawson Rowing.
