The Residents of St Andrew's College have recently been engaging in charity initiatives to give back to the community.
As part of the fundraising initiatives linked to College events, the Students' Club fresher auctions raised almost $2500 for the Puffin Magic Foundation. Puffin Magic provides funding for the rehabilitation and financial support of James Gribble (fr '97), who was left a quadriplegic after a terrible incident in Zambia in 2008. The College was proud to host James at a recent meeting of the students, where he shared his story and his thanks for the continued support of the College.
Congratulations to Hannah Buckling who successfully raised over $2500 at a BBQ for the Leukemia Foundation. The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
