St Andrew’s College
Alumni Society:
Keeping you connected
The Society was set up in 1948 to promote reunions and fellowship between alumni and to strengthen the connection between alumni and College. It also represents the interests of the alumni and to provide services to the alumni.
The Society has evolved into an important value-adding conduit between alumni, students and the College Administration, Council and Foundation. It contributes by:
• awarding scholarships to students who contribute to the life of the College and expanding the scholarship base;
• promoting reunions and events for alumni;
• maintaining the Society’s pages on the College’s website;
• publishing the annual newsletter the Society Record;
• helping the Students’ Club in relation to careers evenings, finding sporting coaches and other matters;
• selling College merchandise in conjunction with the Students’ Club;
• acting as a custodian of the traditions and standards of St. Andrew’s College; and
• promoting the involvement of the members of the Society in College affairs.
