St Andrew's College

Tutorials

The tutorial program is designed and managed by the College's Senior Tutor and is tailored to meet residents' specific needs.

St Andrew's draws tutors from the academic staff at the University of Sydney and also from its undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate resident community. Tutorials are arranged on the basis of student demand.

In 2012, St Andrew's College provided tutorials for 153 students in 170 different subjects with many students receiving assistance with 2-3 subjects, giving a total of 378 tutorial subject requests.

2012 saw regular weekly tutorials for 50 subjects with 34 hours of regular tutorials per week.

The tutorial program is free to all residents and alumni of St Andrew's College and is open to residents of other Sydney University Colleges on liaison with senior tutors of their respective colleges. The program is also open to non-residents on application and payment of an administration fee.
