St Andrew’s College is a welcoming and inclusive community. We award up to $2.2 million in scholarships annually, and around half of our students receive at least one scholarship.

St Andrew’s Scholars Award
The St Andrew’s Scholars program seeks to support our future leaders by awarding up to three scholarships each year. The Scholarships will provide financial support of full fee-relief and will be awarded for a maximum of 3 years.
The Scholars will be exceptional young men and women who will thrive academically, are ‘engaged in life’ and have the potential to make a significant positive contribution to College and, in the future, the wider community.

Means-Tested Scholarships (Bursaries)
The College offers a number of means-tested scholarships (also known as bursaries) each year. These are awarded to meritorious students who would otherwise be unable to come to College. These scholarships are open to students from a wide range of backgrounds, including those from rural, regional, and remote communities.

Creative Arts Scholarships
The College offers a variety of creative arts scholarships. Students are obligated to complete, or participate in, activities related to their scholarship in order to fulfil the requirements. Scholarships available are:
– Choral Scholarship
– Instrumental Scholarship
– Keyboard Accompanist Scholarship
– Convenor of Choral Music
– Convenor of Chamber Music Scholarship
– Convenor of Jazz and Contemporary Music Scholarship
– Scott West Organ Scholarship
– Piping Scholarship
– Artistic Discipline Scholarship (for Dance/Drama/Visual Arts/Debating/Public Speaking)
– Major Residential Music Scholarship for Exceptional Music Students

The College offers partial fee relief for places in its Non-Residential Program. To be eligible for these scholarships, students must be high-performing musicians, whether vocalists, instrumentalists or composers.

Sporting Scholarships
Applicants are not required to submit applications for sporting scholarships. They are awarded in collaboration with the Elite Athletes Program (University of Sydney)
GradReady GAMSAT Merit Scholarships
GradReady is proud to award one student residing at St Andrew’s College a GradReady GAMSAT®Attendance (Comprehensive) Course each year. The scholarship is designed for prospective medical students and provides them with comprehensive preparation for the Graduate Medical Schools Admission Test (GAMSAT®). GradReady is an education technology company aimed at making learning more effective and engaging. GradReady has helped over 6,000 students prepare for the GAMSAT® exam since 2010. Post Graduate Research Scholarships
St Andrew’s College wishes to encourage more research post graduates to reside at St Andrew’s College. Up to four (4) scholarships will be available in 2026 for students undertaking research masters, PhD, or post-doctoral research studies.
