Current Occupation & Career Details Founder & Director of Georgie Quigley Public Relations (GQPR).
GQPR is a Sydney based publicity and events agency specialising in consumer lifestyle brands. Prior to launching my own business, I worked at Soda Communications and Moskos Communications where I developed a love for the fast-paced agency environment working on globally recognised clients alongside niche Australian brands.
Involvement during your time at College In my final year of college I was appointed as the Honorary Secretary of the Students Club (2014). I largely spent my time at college as the ‘social glue’ organising events & driving student participation, formerly recognised by being awarded half colours for Social Contributions to College (2014).
Interests/passions relating to the Alumni Society and St Andrew’s College To not lose the network & friendships we created when we were students at College. As a member of the Young Alumni Committee I hope to not only grow & strengthen that existing network but also create a positive dynamic between the Young Alumni Society & the Alumni Society that is mutually beneficial and promotes sustained college ties.
Interests outside of work I have developed a love for long distance running and have run several half marathons and marathons while raising money through charity group Can Too. To date, I have raised over $10,000 for cancer research.
