St Andrew’s Creative Arts Scholarships

In 2019, St Andrew’s is expanding the scholarships available for students who display cultural merit. St Andrew’s continues to support the artistic future of Australia by providing opportunities for financial relief for those potential residents who want to contribute to its community. This new initiative is open to all potential residents who are involved in the arts.

Available Scholarships

1 x $35 000 Scholarship for the Artist in Residence, which is a program available for students who display a high level of achievement in their cultural field. This scholarship requires the Artist in Residence to lead the cultural program and liaise with both the Director of Music and the Director of College Life. This scholarship covers the full cost of residency for the recipient during their allotted time with St Andrew’s.

1 x $17 500 Scholarship available for a high-level student. Active engagement in the St Andrew’s College Life Music Program, event performance, and auditioning for the Palladian, are conditions of being awarded and accepting the scholarship. This scholarship is to support residency of the applicant.

1 x $11 000 Scholarship available for a high-level student. This scholarship is to support residency of the applicant. Active engagement in the St Andrew’s College Life Music Program, event performance, and auditioning for the Palladian, are conditions of being awarded and accepting the scholarship.

10 x $2 500 Scholarships available for choral singers.

1 x $2 000 Scholarship available for an organist.

2 x $2 500 Scholarships available for ensemble conveners.

10 x $2 000 Scholarships available for instrumentalists.

2 x $2 000 Scholarships available for keyboard students.

4 x $2 500 Scholarships available for cultural participation in the Arts (i.e. dance, art, drama, spoken word)

2 x $2 000 Scholarships available for bagpipe players. Active engagement in the College Life Music Program, college dinners, sporting events and Palladian auditions are conditions of being awarded and accepting the scholarship.

Who is eligible?

These new scholarships and bursaries are available to new and returning students who meet the cultural requirements specified. Students must submit an application for each scholarship that they wish to be considered for and may be required to audition.
