Sarah Bradbury (fR 2010) has taken the opportunity to study overseas, recently relocating to Denmark, where she is enrolled at the University of Copenhagen.
She is a recipient of the Petre Foundation Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to facilitate international study experiences.
Sarah has now been in Copenhagen for two months, and commenced study at the beginning of September. She is taking Masters courses in Criminology.
“I have really loved my first month here, immersing myself by taking an intensive Danish language course. I was also part of the recent 100th birthday celebration for The Little Mermaid, where along with 99 other girls I dove into the freezing cold harbour to form the number ‘100’ in front of her statue. It was an exhilarating (albeit chilly!) experience,” Sarah has told us.
She has sent some great photos of Rosenborg Castle, the houses on her street and the Little Mermaid celebrations, which we have shared below.
The College wishes Sarah all the best with her Danish experience!
